Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Divorcing!

Married life is over for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

The Latino power couple, who tied the knot seven years ago and have two children together, announced on Friday afternoon that they plan on divorcing. The couple told People exclusively:

“We have decided to end our marriage … This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusions on all matters … It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

The split comes as a surprise to many, especially as they two had several joint projects in the works. In fact, Latino magazine conducted an interview just a few weeks ago in which J.Lo said they were “a good combination.”

Lopez and Anthony are the parents of twins Max and Emme, who are 3 years old. They gave no indication of what their plans are for custody of the children.

Most Critical views from Mawarni, about Domestic Violence.

One day, I read from my FB status, a description of domestic violence. If you really want to know, below is his status:

Today the case of x-husband had stabbed x-wife .. boyfriend rammed and broke the car for girlfriend asked to break .. Is there no cases of women who destroyed or stabbing boyfriend, because the same case .. Kick the case of wife or husband .. or less sane woman splashing acid on men roam .. ermmm .. there, but rarely read such cases in the press ..

Factor of his status is often heard of violence by husband to wife, but a lot of the violence from his wife (you read the newspapers did not roses hehe). In fact, the violence is nothing new, it has been happening, such as stabbing her husband, cut off the genitals, splashing acid, healer, and so on. It is rarely spoken of because it is normally the universe, before this course, the normality of it from the husband / man.

Then I was taken aback by comments from Rose himself as the paragraph below. Surprised too when it came out of the small fingers of roses. Yes it is, I know roses since 1999. Even her husband's Arin is my roomate while studying at the university before. Remain on the Block A (now turned into the faculty). In fact, Rose and Arin remembrance is one of my friends thinking very straight forward. Thought they were rarely heard deals with environmental issues, political or otherwise. Simple and very straight forward.

I think only one sharp word from the knife I stabbed .. words more acidic than vinegar rubber .. That is why many men want to beat psychopath then women .. because apparently the men have been injured internally .. All organs and the brain seems to have hit flush stripes women's words and stab using a sharp verses .. hehehe ..

Yes, what he said, thinking man is straight forward. Small matters is rarely considered seriously. They just look pretty big and meaningful to their lives. For example, if a man wants to buy clothes at the supermarket, they went to the department shirts, buy and pay. Yes, but rarely, if we find men picky. Check zip, sewing, cloth came from where.

Common man easy to forgive and swallow whatever the challenges. Only those who think short easy decision after things go wrong. But when the words that cut like a sharp knife, yes, once sliced, scars remain forever.

Yes, women will also use the same argument as above, but believe me, men and women of God is a significant difference in rights. Seek equality, God had raised up the difference in terms of rights, food and everything else.

Pharaoh solar ship found

Take King Khufu to 'eternity'

CAIRO: A team of Japanese archaeologists discover Egypt and the Pharaoh Khufu Solar ship recently located near the great pyramids of Giza. Conservation project done is to take 41 blocks with an average weight of 16 tons each and move the ship buried 4.500 years ago in a burrow. The project is the focus of research for Antiquities Ministry of Home Affairs, the delegation from Waseda University, Japan and the Japan Institute for Solar Ship. They are embarking on studies since 2007.
Minister of State for Egyptian Antiquities, Zahi Hawass was present at the transfer ceremony and told reporters, conservation work 'solar oldest ship in the world' will take about four years before it can be displayed to visitors.

Both vessels made from Lebanese cedar wood and acacia wood Egypt.Hawass said that the new ship is better than expected.

The Pharaoh Khufu Solar ship detected in 1987 in a large hole, to the west of the first solar boat. Both the ship is located in the south of the Pyramid of Khufu at Giza.

"At first I was worried to see the timber ship. However, I am confident that we can see another ship of Pharaoh in four years, when it is restored, "he said. - Agencies
After the repairs are finished, the second ship will be placed near the fence pyramid, while the first ship will be transferred in the Great Egyptian Museum which is currently under construction.
The first solar ship was discovered in 1954 and unveiled in 1982, near the pyramids after the repairs, which took 13 years.
The transfer of blocks that led to the discovery of Pharaoh Khufu ship is made in a large barn that was built to protect the ship. The first stone blocks lifted Wednesday as a test before the place was replaced with a wooden block.
King Khufu of the fourth dynasty Pharaoh, known in government building and Pyramid of Khufu. Ancient Egyptians believed that the ship was built to bring him to eternal life.

INOS's Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)

HUET simulator for Westland Lynx helicopter Helicopter Underwater Egress Training in the United States, and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training in most other countries, (often abbreviated HUET, pronounced hue-wet, hue-way or you-way) is training provided to offshore oil and gas industry staff and military personnel who are regularly transported to and from facilities by helicopters over water. As the name implies, the purpose is to prepare them for emergency exit in the case of a crash landing over water.

Overview
The training involves simulated sinking in a pool while rotating the training module upside down and focuses students on bracing for impact, identifying primary and secondary exit points, avoiding smoke inhalation, surfacing for air, and head count. The conventional simulators simulate an immersed cabin rotating around single axis, usually lengthwise. Most trainees find that the repetition of predictable submerging and controlled rotation does not offer any additional improvement to their survival skills. While the traditional simulators can only be turned left or right in the horizontal plane, the new generation simulators can turn 360º in both the horizontal and vertical planes and can increase post-accident underwater survival by up to 250%. - Wikipedia.

At 26 to 28 last June, I attended a training Huet for a second time in Terengganu Safety Training Center, Kemaman, Terengganu. As always are a little bit frightening because as human habitat is not in the water. hehe.

Surprisingly, when this time we (staff Institute of Oceanography and Environment) were given a mask. Helicopter drops first and second time we were given a Self Breathing Equiment. In the past, we are provided with life jackets only. Piece of cake.

In the past, Huet is a module that is feared, not anymore. Jumping from a platform is a module for us devastated. Anyway, we were able to spend a MIS-BOSET training and are ready to do research at Kemaman offshore, 18 July.

Noah's Ark

The Quranic verse detailing about the resting place of the Prophet Nuh's Ark (or in english Noah's Ark) is found in Chapter Hood, verse 44 (Qur.aan 11:44). The verse says:

" When the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water and O sky! withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong! "

The 49th verse of the same Chapter says:

" Such are some of the stories of the Unseen which We have revealed unto you: before this neither you nor your people knew them. So persevere patiently: for the end is for those who are righteous "

Martin Wroe, LONDON - Noah's Ark has been found on the Turkish-Iranian border, 32 kilometres from Mount Ararat, according to the leader of a team of scientists that has been investigating the site for six years.

The Turkish government is so convinced by the findings that, after years of intransigence, it has designated the site one of special archaeological interest and agreed to its excavation next summer.

On surrounding terrain, the American and Middle Eastern scientists have identified huge stones with holes carved at one end, which they believe are "drogue-stones," dragged behind ships in the ancient world to stabilise them. Radar soundings indicate unusual levels of iron-oxide distribution.

Salih Bayraktutan, head of geology at Turkey's Ataturk University, estimates the age of the 'vessel' at more than 100,000 years. "It is a man-made structure and for sure it is Noah's Ark." The site is directly below the mountain of Al Judi, named in the Koran as the Ark's resting place.

David Fasold, an American shipwreck specialist with no religious affiliation, has led the investigation. He says subsurface radar surveys of the site have produced "very good pictures." "The radar imagery at about 25 metres down from the stern is so clear that you can count the floorboards between the walls."

He believes the team has found the fossilised remains of the upper deck and that the original reed substructure has disappeared. But the findings have infuriated the scores of Christian Ark-hunters who travel to Turkey, convinced the Ark will only be found on Mount Ararat.

Fasold, who calls himself an "Arkologist," also argues that it was not a great flood that pushed the Ark into the mountains. He says it was "an astronomical event causing a tectonic upheaval, a tidal bore causing gravitational pull in the ocean waters that forced the boat into the mountains."

Some of Fasold's team of geophysicists and geologists are reserving final judgement until the excavation and carbon-dating. But in a British TV series on the environment next month, team member Vendyl Jones, a Middle East archaeologist and inspiration for film character Indiana Jones, says it is "between maybe and probably" that they have found Noah's Ark.

Makkah Time : The new alternative for GMT

JEDDAH: The giant clock of Makkah is all set to tick home a new time standard, as some scholars believe that it will be an ideal alternative to the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Many scholars are of the opinion that Makkah Time can provide the world an alternative to the GMT. These people have scientific arguments to back their contention, as Makkah is situated in the center of the world.

At a conference in Doha in 2008, Muslim clerics and scholars presented “scientific” arguments that Makkah time is the true global meridian. They said that Makkah is the center of the world.

“Putting Makkah time in the face of Greenwich Mean Time, this is the goal,” said Mohammed Al-Arkubi, general manager of Royal Makkah Tower Hotel.

The Royal Clock is sitting atop the central tower in the Abraj Al-Bait Project, 50 meters opposite the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The clock will be visible from 17 km away at night and 11 to 12 km away during the day. A German-owned company, Premiere Composite Technologies, has designed the clock.

Sources said that the world’s largest clock — six times larger than London’s Big Ben — will be launched in the first week of Ramadan but no date has yet been fixed. The trial run would be conducted on the clock facing Jeddah that is to be inaugurated first.

The tower featuring the world’s largest clock also includes a Lunar Observation Center and an Islamic Museum. While the Royal Clock will announce daily prayers, the Lunar Observation Center and Islamic Museum will serve to protect the heritage for future generations. The observatory will also be used to sight the moon during the holy months. On special occasions, 16 bands of vertical lights will shoot some 10 km up into the sky.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah had ordered the largest clock tower in the world to be built in Makkah. The clock is placed on the fifth tower of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project at a height of 380 meters and could be seen from all sides. The name of Allah has been inscribed on each of the four clock faces. Two of the clock faces including the inscription will be 80 meters in height and 65 meters in width, and the dial diameter will be 39 meters.

The other two clocks will be 65 meters in height and 43 meters in width while their dial diameter will be 25 meters. Two lifts will take visitors to a balcony with a width of five meters below the clocks. The landmark edifice will also carry intricate Islamic decorative artwork.

The Makkah Clock Tower when completed will be the tallest in the world — taller than the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, the Big Ben in London, Rajabai Clock Tower in Mumbai, and the Allen-Bradley Clock Tower in Milwaukee.

The King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project, which overlooks the Holy Mosque and has been chosen as the site of the world’s highest clock, is one of the world’s largest construction projects.

The project was rated the largest architectural building in view of the total area, which exceeds 1.4 million square meters. Designed using Islamic architecture, it contains seven adjacent towers, with 6,000 housing units, and has over SR6 billion ($1.6 billion) in investments.

With the construction of the clock, Saudi Arabia, specifically the Western Region, will be the site of two world landmarks, including the Jeddah Fountain, which is 261 meters high. The area of flowing water is 4,000 square meters. Three giant pumps are used to pump water at a speed of 320 km per hour and are 261 meters in height.

The 577-meter Makkah Clock Royal Tower will be 59 meters taller than the 508-meter tall Taipei 101 tower in Taiwan, but 251 meters shorter than Dubai’s 828-meter tall Burj Khalifa. The Makkah Clock Royal Tower will have a luxurious 76-story hotel which is the focal point of the Abraj Al-Bait complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project.

The opening of the hotel will replace Rotana’s newly opened 333-meter tall Rose Rayhaan in Dubai for the world’s title. The $180 million Rose Rayhaan by Rotana on Sheikh Zayed Road was officially opened on Jan. 6 and has been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s tallest hotel.

The Makkah Clock Tower will be a key destination for visitors from the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East. The $3-billion, seven-tower complex of hotels, called Abraj Al-Bayt Towers, will contain 3,000 rooms and suites, the majority of which will overlook the Grand Mosque, which Muslims face for daily prayers.

Analysts say the projects after completion would change the face of the holy city and create better housing, transport and living facilities for the pilgrims.

Malaysia - National Oil Curse

Former finance minister Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said Malaysia as the 'oil curse' in which the wealth of its land revenue is not used for the original purpose of Petronas, but the empty poppy and symbols such as the Petronas Towers. "When I founded the Petronas in 1974, I do not think that one day, I feel better if we did not find that wealth," he said.

He said the award of the oil should be used to drive the country's transition to a more educated society, and high-minded, but has become a poppy that enjoyment and empty symbols such as the Tower Petronas.Tengku Razaleigh - a former Umno vice-president who nearly beat Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for the presidency 20 years ago - is among the founders of Petronas in the '70s.

He said Malaysia now stuck in the middle income trap, "stuck in a simple growth of low value-added production and assembly of components and can not make the leap to a knowledge-intensive economy. He said the initial purpose of the use of Malaysia's oil reserves is to help the country jumped from the economic commodity-based and low cost installation, to a more diversified economy based on high-income jobs. "we see our oil reserves as a gift of wealth that will generate money for modernization and technology," he said at the summit of young Malaysian corporate the Tower of Integrity, Kuala Lumpur today.

However, he said, billions of dollars of oil export revenue over the past three decades, has been wasted by the government. He said the country's oil revenues should be used as planned during the formation of Petronas, has become the funds expended at will by anyone who run the country, without any accountability.

The book entitled "Malaysian Maverick: Mahathir Mohamad in Turbulent Time ', launched recently, estimated about RM100 billion has been wasted in the financial scandal during the administration of Dr Mahathir's 22 years. The author, Barry Wine, a former editor of The Asian Wall Street Journal , wrote that most of the scandal, including the government's attempts to manipulate the properties and involvement of the international tin National Bank in the global currency market, in the 1980s.

However, there are some analysts that say the number is higher than that. Time quoted Malahah Daniel Lian - an economist from Morgan Stanly in Singapore, said Malaysia would have lost "up to U.S. $ 100 billion" (RM340 million) during Dr Mahathir.Petronas contributed 40 percent of the national budget over the last year but the suspension on the acquisition of oil revenue more untenable.

The Government will expand the tax base by introducing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) where all Malaysians are required to pay additional taxes in addition to income tax. Tengku Razaleigh said the country's oil wealth is being wasted and used to save companies that failed, to buy weapons, build a massive city on the site of oil palm plantations. Acquisitions, he said, was not used to eradicate poverty in poor countries, but channeled for political purposes and those that relate to politics.

He said oil revenues should be the legacy of wealth for all people and future generations, has been used to rule the 'authoritarian', undermine constitutional democracy and corrupt the entire political and business elite.
